Three Sheets To The Wind II (© 2013 Keith Swanson)

Back when I was sailin'
Was a barmaid serving here
She had a way of pouring
Made it more than just a beer
She'd tilt her head and smile
Pull the handle, wink her eye
If someone ordered whiskey
Well you'd almost wonder why

Sailin' lads who came to town
Would stand around and grin
Drinkin' in the talents
Of the lovely Jenny Flynn
We all tried to bed her
And though she denied us all
The cruelest words she spoke a man
Was when she'd shout last call

Set 'em up now Jenny
For the ships are sailin' in
We've got tales and treasures
Of the places we have been
We've been too-ra-loo-ra-loo-ra-long
Away from scotch and gin
We're not leavin' till we're weavin'
Three Sheets To The Wind

I lived a rover's life
Spent many broads a year
And when I'm feeling homesick
These old sea legs drag me here
Jenny's hasn't aged at all
She still can turn a head
And sailors still are saying
The same stuff they've always said

They say set 'em up now Jenny
For the ships are sailin' in
We've got tales and treasures
Of the places we have been
We've been too-ra-loo-ra-loo-ra-long
Away from scotch and gin
We're not leavin' till we're weavin'
Three Sheets To The Wind.
